About property

Quietly laying down on a gentle hill, this villa overlooks – from its refreshing pool – the light blue sea of Cefalù. A quiet location within the vivid Mediterranean green environment, yet not far from the colorful and lively centre of this pretty Medieval town near Palermo.

340 square meters for an enchanting two-level villa. The upper floor is fully covered in paneling, and has a romantic fireplace surrounded by huge glasses that let the colors of the sea enlighten the room. Excellent details and a classic Sicilian atmosphere: the kitchen is in majolica, as well as some of the floors.

The lower floor is dedicated to a quiet sleeping area that culminates in a lovely living room  with a  colored floor of majolica tiles, and then onto a cozy courtyard.

The outside area is wonderful to live and discover as well. Wide panoramic terraces let the sight get lost right until the wonder of a really poetic horizon where air and water almost touch; a pretty swimming pool facing the sea that grants you peace and quiet anytime you want; a wide patio where you can enjoy either your friends’ company or just the warm air of sunset; a lush garden playing with light and shadows. More than 1.700 square meters for you: a green meadow with typical Mediterranean plants, an ancient oak grove where you can find relief from the warm sun, and two equipped areas, furnished with majolica. An external kitchen with BBQ is available, and it faces the seaside as well.

Cefalù and surroundings:

The tiny, picturesque Cefalù is located on a cape between the sea of Northern Sicily and a chalky rock on top of which the sight is absolutely stunning. This little town is ancient, but it has a poetic, peculiar medieval imprinting, and is nowadays one of the most visited touristic destinations in the whole island. Its pretty beach welcomes you and takes you to the warm waters of the sea, the narrow little streets of the historical centre are rich of picturesque shops where you’ll discover delicious typical local products, and hide secret corners that you absolutely must not miss. Near the town, the Gibilmanna sanctuary is located on Pizzo Sant’Angelo (800 meters above sea level) right in the middle of a chestnut and oak wood, and it will open you the doors of the Madonie mountains and the wonderful inland. And Palermo, the wonderful capital of the island, is just an hour away: a visit to this beautiful, colorful, multi-cultural city must absolutely not be missed.
